Preserving Food + Stories Together

ForkLore is a community preservation library. It provides shared commercial preservation equipment — including a commercial freeze dryer and dehydration equipment — operated by trained staff. Participants bring food they already own. Staff run the equipment. Participants take their preserved food home.

The goal is practical household food security. Food that would otherwise spoil is converted into shelf-stable form. Participants leave with months or years of additional shelf life on food they already purchased.
